Australian Mercy has just completed its Primary healthcare training on the Thai / Burmese border. This year there were 35 trainees who completed the training. This course has been invaluable in improving the health care in the region – today we received this email. Marion Wilbraham leads the course and Robin Wales also teaches on it. The course was held at Way Teh Loo close to the Mae-la camp. Today we received this email from an NGO working on the border that send some of its indigenous staff to do the training.
Its really great to be helping and such a blessing to take our medical students that were just trained with Marion so just wanted to say thanks for running that course its already coming into effect.
Marion and Robin’s primary health training up there was very helpful and timely. Not only are they able to join with a group providing medical aid but they all also provide emotional and spiritual support.
