Kids Ark
In 2003 we were asked by the local community to start a pre school in Hera. There was a need for school and they came to us. We started with a small class of 30 kids in a small rented room. The community was so blessed by the start of the school that very soon we had to look for another location. After 3 years, we started grade 1 and land was given to us....now we have 300 kids from pre school to grade 6 and a beautiful school and 23 local staff working with us.The Clinic
The clinic also stared as a small clinic and today we also have the Rehabilitation Center and Maternity Center. We also educate people in how to live a healthy life and also bring dignity to a group of people that because of their disabilities were destined to live hiding inside the house. Today through the Center they are able to study , play and be part of the community.Kids Ark has developed projects in a number of fields including:
• Education • Health • Disabilities • Sanitation and water reticulation • Micro finance co-ops
